Cousins

So on Lilly's 1st Birthday, the three cousins were together. Here are some interesting pics, that show some possible future dynamics....

9 Month Doctor Appt.

So Chase had his 9 month appt. He is now weighing 21.5 lbs / his height is 28.5" / which puts him in the 75th percentile. This also makes him heavier than Lilly and a 1/2" shorter than her (She's 1). Crazy!
He was a trooper and didn't even notice he had a shot.
He is cutting his 4 top teeth though; and its been a challenge to sleep and get him to drink his bottle. Motherhood..... oh and to top it all off, he's really close to walking! He is just starting to let go and try and hold his balance. He also knows how to maneuver up the stairs! This is all so very nerve wracking....

So back in Nov. I made an appt with Nelly from Lumina Images to get a great Christmas present for my parents.... a picture of the 3 grandchildren.... it did not work out as smoothly as we wanted, but Nelly did manage to get great individual shots!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2008 was fun... Chase doesn't get "it" yet, but it was funny watching him climb up on the presents and rip off the bows. I am new to the blogging so if and when I figure it out, I will try to add in a video. My intentions is to continually update this blog, I started it back in May and am attempting it again.... We'll see....

Lilly wanted everyone to know that she is a Boston Red Sox fan! She had to borrow Chase's hat on this beautiful Memorial Day!

Baby Chase

Chase Arthur Almeida was born on April 1, 2008 @ 6:10 pm

He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19.5 in. long.

He did arrive 4 weeks early by a C-section and did require an extended stay at St. Luke's Hospital. But he is home now and doing very well.

As of 5/29/08 he weighs 10lbs. 11oz. I can't believe it!
